Education is a major aspect of the contemporary society. Proper and Excellent education is one through which a person can become completely perfect in life.Education is seen as a basic factor for accomplishing entire advance of nation.It is education which transforms a society in the organization of knowledge and technology.
Formal and informal education program seem to have been execute for more than five decades in Nepal.Government proposed 14.5%of expense for the education program.Education program has been positioned in high consideration since 1970.Ho-ever the literacy rate is merely 65.1%of male and 42.5%of female.The literacy rate of ethnic group could not raise drastically and stayed only 38% in mountain, 43%in hill,26.4%in inner Tarai and 28.1% in Tarai.Similarly number of higher qualified people for the country is not produced adequately by the universities to match requirement of the country.There are more than 5 universities in the country producing human resources.
In a much wider sense, education is vital to train civil life, making citizenship,evaluation of democratic society, self realization which contributes to social modification and experience development objectives.The aim of education is to build personality, cultural development,exploration of universal values and synthesis of man and nature.Therefore it is imperative to accomplish development goals through appropriate education,which is not moving right direction towards the desired goals.Rural people in Nepal are generally more starved from the education opportunities as compared to people of urban areas.
