One morning the year was 2065 BS (Nepali calendar) I woke up with a large amount of throbbing pain inside my right foot big toe.The pain was sever.I thought it was some kind of common pain. The toe was wonderfully uncomfortable, red, heated, and swollen inflamed.I toughed it out for 2 -3 days i memorize. I do believe it will eventually decrease after a short duration, but I was completely wrong. The pain became more intense. It experienced such as a large piece of needle was pricking my toes, producing distinct pain every time I rub and also put gentle massages on it. It reached the level that it seemed like I was moving on a blade and the blade was heading consecutive . The trouble was so extreme that I ended up having to postpone all important work because I couldn’t even walk to the bathroom.Symptoms last for 6 days.The pain,swelling and redness of my toe go away totally.I slowly and eventually feel and look normal.I forgot my pain.
Second attack
After 8 month of my first Gout attack one morning, it was the winter season, I woke up with similar excessive pain in my right big toe again closely at the same exact area.I couldn't tolerate to have the bedsheets stroke it. I had my second gout attack.It was only after I come to the conclusion there exists something wrong with my health. I consulted to a doctor.Doctor checked my foot.After a blood test and xray my doctor informed me that I had gout. I was very surprised, and stressed out. The doctor stated that gout is a type of inflammatory arthritis(inflammation of a joint), addressed all of my problems and managed medication to assist in reducing the redness,swelling that was inducing the pain and minimize the uric acid levels in my body. I constantly started to take my medicines on timetable.With treatment and modifications in my diet, my throbbing pain started to decrease and it gone away yet I am even now not remedied.With the information from my doctor I am well aware even more about gout now than.So I made up my mind to share a little something about Gout to make familiarized concerning how to deal with gout.

1.Drink an ample amount of watery everyday
Try to drink an ample amount of water everyday because this will assist you to wash away the uric acid crystals.
2.stay off your feet
When a severe attack appears, it is advisable stay off your feet as much as you can and keep the troubled joint heightened.
3. ice pack
If you are able to bear the pain, use an ice pack for about 20 minutes three times per day for about three days as the ice cold will mild the pain and reduce the swelling and irritation. Don't use the ice cubes directly to the skin, cover it up in a clean soft cloth.
4. High protein foods
Excessive protein types of foods or food products  high in chemical compounds named purines can boost the level of uric acid in the body. Stay away from meat based gravy, liver, kidneys and sweetbreads,Shellfish.
5. Peas, beans
Try to stay away from refined carbohydrates such as white flour, oatmeal, yeast containing foods. A few veggies should also be stopped for example asparagus, peas, beans, spinach and cauliflower.
6.Exercise and weight loss
Exercise and weight loss can easily help in blocking gout disorder . Get adequate but proper exercise and have a healthy balanced eating habits.
7. If the gout discomfort is particularly in the big toe, dipping the affected foot in a warm water bucket with little salt gives immediate relief from the pain, mainly because of magnesium contained in it.
8. Ignore enjoying an excessive amount alcohol and beer.
9.Yogurt
My personal experience is reduce Curry food and yogurt.
10.Blood pressure check up
Surely have your blood pressure monitored at least once in 3 month. High blood pressure is more common in people who have gout.
11.Strawberries
Fruit called Strawberries are very good for gout. it is said that eating15 to 20 Strawberries regular makes gout out. Fruits like cherries, blueberries bananas, celery are good for gout.
12. coffee
Enjoying four or more cups of coffee a day minimized the chance of gout for men and women and that levels of uric acid in the blood.
To conclude, gout affected individuals who smoke cigarettes,cigars, hookah,bidi,pipe smoke smoking have said that after quitting smoking, they’ve encountered a reduced amount of gout problem , while people who moved back in having a smoke again for a second time suffered from increased gout signs and symptoms as their disease fighting capability (natural immunity) diminished. As a former smoker myself which was part of the cause in me developing gout in the first place, I emphatically advise all to quit smoking without delay and if you do find it hard to quit smoking, seek help not from your doctor only but from your true self-esteem and determination to succeed.True self-confidence isn't an overnight acquisition. It takes dedication, strength of mind to understand that smoking is very bad. It’ll do wonders not only for your gout but your overall health.
